- Get 700 gm boneless chicken
- Prepare 100 gm curd
- Get 2 medium size onion
- Take 3 medium size tomatoes
- Make ready 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Make ready 3-4 tsp Kashmiri mirch powder
- Make ready 2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take 2 tsp Cumin powder
- Take 2 tsp coriander powder
- Get 2 tsp garam masala
- Take 1 tsp tandoori chicken masala
- Take 10-12 cashwe nut
- Make ready 1 tbsp cream
- Take 3-4 tbsp Oil
- Take to taste Salt
- Make ready As required Coriander leaves
- Prepare as required Fenugreek leaves powder
- Get 2 tsp chopped ginger garlic
Instructions to make Chicken tikka masala:
- FOR MARINATION In a big bowl take chicken, add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tspof cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, 1 tsp Kashmiri mirch powder, tandoori chicken powder, curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon oil, salt to taste mix it very well cover and keep it aside for at least 30 to 45 minutes for marinate. I marinate it for 4 hours.
- After marination it’s time for make our chicken chunk little smoky, it gives your tikkas that authentic taste, for this put a burning charcoal on a plate place that plate on marinate chicken bowl, put some ghee on charcoal when it starts smoking cover the bowl with a lid and keep it for 5minutes.
- Heat 1 to 2 tbsp of oil in a grill pan on medium flame and put the marinated chicken pieces and grilled it on low flame till both sides are become golden brown and crispy. Take them out from the pan and keep aside for latter use.
- Let’s make the tomatoes puree for gravy…. in a pan add 1 to 2 tbsp oil put one chopped onion, chopped ginger garlic sautee for few sec now add 3 medium size chopped tomatoes, Kashmiri mirch powder, cashew nuts, pinch of salt little turmeric powder sautee for 3to 4 minutes. Let the mixture cool down completely tham make a fine puree by mixing them together.
- In another pan add 2 tablespoons oil heat it on medium flame, add 1 chopped onion and sautee till onion become brown. Add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
- Now add tomatoes puree to it and cook until cook it takes 5 to 8 minutes approx. Then add cumin powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder and salt to taste mix everything very well and cook for more 2 to 3minutes.
- Now add 1 tbsp cream into the gravy and mix well. Add the tikka into the gravy toss it gently add 1 or 1.5 cup water in it, cover with a lid and give it a nice boil for 2 to 3 minutes. As it is a semi dry curry we olny need just a little water to cook.
- After 2 to 3 minutes open the lid and 1 tsp garam masala powder, kasurimethi powder mix them gently cook for 1 minutes more. To make kasurimethi powder dry roast the kasurimethi leaves in a tawa on low heat for 1 to 2 let it cool complete then crushed and it’s ready.
- Now the curry is ready garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and serve sausage with rice, naan, parotha aur roti.
