Steps to make Falafel with hummus:

  1. For falafel–Take soaked chickpeas in a grinder. Add onion, garlic, coriander, mint leaves, green chilli, Ginger, Cumin seeds, salt. Without adding any water grind semi-fine or slightly coarse. Remove all the batter in a bowl. Then add boiled potatoes. Mix well.
  2. Take a small portion of batter. Shape it into a tikki. Heat little oil in a pan for shallow frying. keep the flame medium and Place the kabab in and cook both sides till golden brown and crisp. Serve with hummus.
  3. For hummus– Then soaked and boiled chickpeas in a grinder. Add sesame seeds, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, salt,green chilli. Blend until you reach desired silky smooth consistency. Spread in a serving bowl and add a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Add a few chickpeas in the middle. Enjoy with warm falafel.
