The ingredients needed to make Hummus:

  1. Get 1 can chickpeas
  2. Take 1 tablespoon tahini
  3. Prepare 1 small garlic clove
  4. Take 2 tablespoons water
  5. Take Lemon juice (to taste)

Steps to make Hummus:

  1. Drain the chickpeas and add them to a blender, along with the tahini, garlic, water and lemon juice. Don’t add too much lemon at this point. You can add more later.
  2. Blend the mixture, after a minute check to see if it needs more lemon and add accordingly. Add a tablespoon of olive oil at this point.
  3. Blend for another minute, on a slower setting this time.
  4. Remove from the blender and add another tablespoon of oil to serve.
