- It takes 45 to 60 minutes or depends on the size of shakarkandi.Perfectly cook from inside and out.
- For Imlli Chutney
- Dissolve Imli in warm water till its dissolved completely and one can get enough pulp after strain.
- Heat a pan and pour the strained pulp in it.Keep the flame medium high and bring the imli pulp to boil.
- Once starts cooking, add sugar, red chillie flakes, Ginger Powder, Salt and mix well.
- Let it cook for 5-8 minutes and for last time taste the chuttney to adjust the sweetness and spiceness of it. - The tanginess of imli (khattas) will be there let it be. It’s a sweet and spicy chuttney so adjsut as per that.
- After 5 minutes, take it off from stove and let it cool. Your delicious imli chuttney is all set to be enjoyed.
