  1. Wash and soak dry Soybeans in enough water for overnight. It is important to do so. Next day, blend it to a little bit coarse paste. Add Green chillies and Salt to it while doing so. Rest of the ingredients are to be added directly to the batter. Mix well and keep aside. The batter should be thick. Therefore use water accordingly.
  2. Rice flour has been added by me as an innovative twist. You can very well add roasted Gram flour if desired. Sumac is an essential component of this Middle n snack. If you do not have it with you, our good old Lemon is an excellent replacement to it. Just squeeze a small lemon into the batter.
  3. Drop small balls of the batter into the sausage Oil on a medium high heat. Deep fry until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Serve these with any dip of your choice and liking. I have served them with Mint and Yoghurt Chutney. And don’t forget to sprinkle a generous amount of Sumac powder on them.
