  2. Prepare 1 large carrot

  8. Make ready 1/3 tbsp cayenne

Steps to make Braised Tofu:

  1. Cut tofu into thin slices and fry in sesame oil
  2. In a small bowl add mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, cayenne, maple syrup
  3. Peel and cut the carrot into small pieces, set aside
  4. After tofu is fried, cut and fry the onion, sliced longways. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, and white scallions.
  5. After onions are cooked, add the fried tofu and soy sauce mix. Sprinkle carrot and some extra raw onion on top. Add one cup of water and bring to boil for 10 minutes
  6. Cut to Green scallions on top and add sesame seeds. Serve sausage and enjoy!
