- Soak tovar dal for 2-3 hours. Cut all the vegetables. Wash tovar dal and vegetables properly
- Soak imli in sausage water for 1 hour. When it become soft then mash it and and squeeze it
- Now take a cooker add tovar dal, all vegetables, salt turmeric powder, water and give 4-5 whistles.
- Finely cut onions and churn tomatoes.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, kadhi patta, hing and dry chillies to it. then add onions and golden brown it
- Add tomato pulp, and cook till it leave oil. Add dhania powder, chilli powder and sambhar masala.
- Mash the boiled dal and vegetables with masher. Add tomato pulp to it. Add imli pulp. Add required water. And cook it for more 15-20 minutes. Serve with dosa or idli
