The ingredients needed to make Falafel:

  1. Get 1 cup chickpeas
  2. Take 1 onion chopped
  3. Get 3-4 green chillies
  4. Prepare 5 garlic cloves
  5. Take 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. Get 1 tsp coriander powder
  7. Get 1 tsp lemon juice
  8. Prepare 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
  9. Make ready 1/4 tsp baking soda

Steps to make Falafel:

  1. Soak the chickpeas in water overnight. Strain and add it to the food processor, tnen add garlic, lemon juice, tahini paste,salt, cumin, coriander powder, coriander leaves, baking soda and coriander leaves and grind it.it shoud be like small cbles. Do not grind it to a smooth paste.
  2. Heat oil in kadai make small round balls. Deep fry the balls in sausage oil they get even brown colour on the outer surface. Once it changes the colour, take them out and serve with Hummus. Hummus recipe is posted
