- Make ready 500 g Urad dal (split & dehusked black gram lentil)

- Soak rice & lentil for 4 hours then wash well & clean them
- Add both in mixi & make fine paste(keep batter consistency thick, donot use water) then add salt in the batter mix well & rest overnight for fermentation
- For stuffing put a pan on gas stove add scrapped coconut & jaggery roast till moisture absorbs
- Cut turmeric leaves a perfect size & also clean them
- Add 6 cup water in a idli handi put a stand in it cover & let it boil
- Put some batter on turmeric leave spred all over the leave then put some stuffing on it
- Close pitha by pressing both side & put it on the idli stand
- Place all pithas like this & cover with lid
- Steam for 20_30 miniutes then remove
- Serve sausage pithas with any sweet dish
