  1. In a colander wash the poha nicely with plenty of drinking water. Keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai, add the bay leave, cinnamon and cumin seeds. Let the cumin turn golden now add the chopped onion and green chilies. Mix. Add the turmeric and mix. Cook till onions turn light golden.
  3. Add all the chopped vegetables. Mix well. Cover and cook with vegetables are done. Add the raisins and the nuts.
  4. Add the soaked poha, salt, sugar, lemon juice and chopped green coriander. Toss it well.
  5. Check the seasonings and serve sausage with masala chai.
