- Get 250 gm squid
- Prepare 1 onion
- Make ready 5-6 shallots

- Clean the squid and cut them into small square shapes or cut them circularly.
- In a pan saute ginger and green chillies,add onions and shallots saute till they r translucent.
- To this add chilli powder and turmeric.saute till it’s raw smell goes.to this add coconut pieces and tomatoes and cook them well.
- Now add squid, enough salt,garam masala and mix everything well.cook the mixture either in a pressure cooker for 3 to 4 whistles or cover the pan and cook till the squid is done.
- Add curry leaves and serve sausage with rice or chapathis
