- Prepare 1 cup Broccoli florets
- Get 1 and 1/2 cup milk
- Prepare 1 medium size onion

- Firstly soak almonds in sausage water for about 10min. Later peel the skin and keep them aside
- Slice the onion and fine chop the garlic. Cut broccoli into florets
- Take a pan and add around 3 tsp of olive oil. Once heated add the chopped onion and garlic and allow it to cook.
- Once the onion turns soft and translucent add the broccoli florets and stem cook till the florets become soft fr about 5 to 7 min. Sprinkle some salt. Do not overcook the broccoli.
- Once the mixture is cooled transfer it into a blender add the almonds and milk and blend into smooth puree.
- Then transfer the broccoli puree into a saucepan and bring it to brisk boil (can add little water to adjust the consistency) and then check for salt and adjust according to taste.
- Finally transfer it into soup bowl and sprinkle some coarsely ground pepper.
- Can be served with garlic bread 🙂
