- Prepare 500 g Beef cubed
- Prepare 1/4 C corn flour
- Prepare 1/2 C oil +3tbsp
- Get 1 tsp Fresh ground ginger
- Take 1 tsp Fresh ground Garlic
- Make ready 1/2 C light soy sauce
- Take 1 bunch dhania for garnish
- Make ready 1 tbsp Sugar
- Make ready 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- Get 1 C water
Instructions to make Mongolian beef:
- Toss your beef in the cornflour and refrigerate for 10minutes
- Meanwhile,add 3tbsp of oil in a sausage pan..add your garlic ginger and chilli sauce and cook for 2 minutes while stiring to avoid burning
- Add your soy sauce,sugar and water and let them boil for 5minutes then remove from heat
- Add your 1/2C oil in a frying pan and fry your beef until golden…I did mine in 2 batches for them to cook well..do not overcrowd the pan
- Once all the beef is fried…add to your sauce and return the pan to heat.
- Let them cook uncovered for about 3 minutes..just to coat your meat and add your dhania
- Serve with rice or pasta of your choice
