- Prepare 500 gm Boneless chicken

- Take For the gravy :
- Take 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Take 1/4th cup Tomato puree -
- Get 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder -
- Make ready 2 tbsp (heaped) Kasuri methi -
- Make ready Rest of the marinade Butter/ghee Salt
Instructions to make Chicken tikka masala:
- Whisk the hung curd with all the mentioned ingredients and marinate the chicken pieces in for few hours.
- Heat a skillet with some oil and put the marinated chicken pieces and roast them on both the sides. Remove them and keep aside. Use the same skillet for the masala/gravy.
- Heat butter/ghee in the same skillet, and then add the chopped onion.
- Saute till golden brown and then add the ginger garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell goes away and then add the powdered masalas.
- Stir and then add the tomato puree, salt and the remaining marinade. Then add the Kasuri methi.
- Cook till the masala leaves oil. Add little water for the gravy.Bring upto boil and add the roasted chicken pieces.
- Give a good Stir, check for seasoning and serve.
