The ingredients needed to make Paella:

  1. Take 2 cups alborio rice
  2. Get Shrimp
  3. Make ready small cuts of chicken
  4. Prepare olive oil
  5. Prepare minced garlic
  6. Prepare cut onions
  7. Get green beans
  8. Make ready frozen green peas
  9. Make ready red capsicum
  10. Take colorante or saffron
  11. Make ready pimiento de la vera mccormick
  12. Prepare chicken broth
  13. Get strained tomatoes

Steps to make Paella:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients. Attached photos.
  2. Cut the vegetables and chicken. Clean also shirmp. Attached photos.
  3. In your paella pan, fry the chicken until golden brown and set it on the other side. Add generous amount of olive oil to saute the garlic, onion. Add the shrimp and fry them for 5 minutes then set aside in a plate. Add the vegetable (green beans and the red capsicum) fry them all together for 5 minutes.
  4. You may add the 2 cups of rice, season it with salt, pepper, 1 tsp of colorante or saffron. 3 tsp of pimiento de la vera then add the 200g tomato strained in a pack or can.
  5. Prepare 5-6 cups of chicken broth and add the first 5 cups in the paella pan to cook the rice. (Leave the other cup if still required later.) Let it cook for 30 to 40 minutes in a low fire and cover it with the lid.
  6. You may add the frozen green peas and the shrimp. Let it cook for 5 minutes and then serve it with lemon.
