- Pour in 4 cups of flour and salt into the mixture. Mix until a smooth slightly sticky ball is formed
- Dust working surface with flour and knead. Add more flour if dough is too sticky. Knead for 3 to 5 minutes or until dough is smooth and elastic.
- Cover dough and allow to rise for an hour or until it doubles in size.
- Meanwhile, make Milo filling.
- Mix butter, 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional) and Milo for 2 minutes. It shouldn’t be watery.
- Softly roll dough on floured surface into a rectangle. It should be moderately thick.
- Now there’s 2 ways that I use to do this. First: spread Milo filling all over the rectangle dough and gently roll it up. (Like in the picture from a Google search below)
- OR, after rolling into a rectangle, spread Milo filling then cut it into 12 stripes & roll each individually. I personally prefer the shapes I get from this method.
- Line in a pan & allow to rise again for 20-30 minutes. For individual rolls that don’t stick when baking, space between the rolls when stacking in pan.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool. Pour condensed milk over. Serve.
